Speakers

  • Giulia Finotello is an assistant professor at the Power and Flow group in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Her research focuses on the experimental and numerical investigations of multiphase flows. The research objectives of her group include the study of metal powder production and reactive particle-based processes. The production and deposition of metal particles through spray technologies (gas and ultrasonic atomization) is crucial for additive manufacturing. Furthermore, metal powder can be used as a C02-free energy carrier. Within the topic of the metal fuel cycle, Giulia focuses on designing and developing technologies for the regeneration of combusted powder.
