TU/e Account Required
Only users with an active TU/e account can request access and use the Umbrella HPC cluster.
Use the self-service request form supplied by the TU/e to request login credentials. After which your request will be sent to one of our administrators and will make sure your account is created with the correct, requested permissions.
To request an account you'll need permission from your supervisor. Please make sure to read the Cluster Policies before you start!
Important!
Protecting your credentials is crucial for maintaining the security of your research data and the integrity of the TU/e network and systems. It is your responsibility to keep your passwords and other authentication details confidential. Compromised credentials can lead to data loss or breaches, affecting everyone involved. Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication to safeguard your access. If you suspect a breach, change your password immediately and take appropriate actions to secure your account. Your vigilance is essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of the vital digital resources within the TU/e network and systems.
Account Expiration
Your requested account will have an expiration date (+1 year at maximum). After which your account will be locked and eventually be removed, including its data. Make sure to make periodic backups of your date to prevent data loss! If your account is about to expire, but you still need access then please request am account renewal by creating a TopDesk ticket.
